NewsChat provides curated news experiences and generative AI tools to help you explore and understand news topics. Features may change over time.

3. AI and content disclaimer

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. NewsChat is not a substitute for primary sources, professional advice, or independent judgment. Always verify important information.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to generate or disseminate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service
• Do not misuse AI features to violate others’ rights or privacy

5. Intellectual property

The app and our branding are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party news content remains subject to the rights of its publishers; your use must comply with applicable law and any in-app attribution.

6. Accounts and purchases

If accounts or subscriptions are offered, you must provide accurate information and are responsible for charges incurred through your store account according to Apple’s or other platform terms.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end access for breaches or service discontinuation. You may stop using NewsChat at any time.

9. Governing law

Governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Hong Kong courts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
