Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Unscripted is an agentic dating application operated by Humans Innovation Ltd (“we”, “us”), Flat D, 25/F, Gee Chang Hong Centre, 65 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Hong Kong. Contact: info@humansinnovation.com · +852 6543 1742.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Unscripted iOS app and the backend services that run it. Other Humans Innovation products (including Bloomen and NewsChat) and the marketing website have separate policies.

3. Age requirement

Unscripted is only for adults 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, email info@humansinnovation.com with “Unscripted privacy” in the subject and we will delete it.

4. Data we collect

We collect only what the current Unscripted app actually uses. We do not collect phone numbers. We do not run advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other companies’ apps.

• Account: email and/or Sign in with Apple (name and email, or Apple’s private relay), and a unique user id from our auth provider.
• Human profile: display name, photos, date of birth (to enforce 18+), age, gender, who you are seeking, relationship intent, occupation, education, bio, interests, and prompts you write.
• AI Twin: Twin name, traits, and prompts you set.
• Precise location: latitude and longitude, a coarse geohash, and a city label. Location is When In Use only. You cannot finish onboarding without granting it, because Discover uses distance.
• Activity: Pass / Cast / Greenlight choices, simulation rooms, AI Twin-vs-Twin transcripts, human messages you send in a room, reactions, comments, and QR-meet links you use.
• Safety: reports, blocks, and (when enabled) automated filter hits. We do not use “device integrity” signals.
• Purchases: Unscripted Pro weekly or monthly subscription records via Apple. Billing is Apple only for this app.
• Support: emails you send to info@humansinnovation.com.
• Optional self-reported flags: Instagram / Spotify “connected” toggles in the app. We do not receive your Instagram or Spotify accounts, handles, or tokens.
• Camera is used only to scan a QR code. Those frames are not uploaded.

5. Sensitive information

Dating profiles can include sensitive personal data (for example gender, sexual preference / who you seek, relationship intent, and photos). We use this only to operate Unscripted (show you nearby people, run simulations, safety). We do not use it for advertising.

6. How we use data

• Create and run your account, profile, and Twin
• Show nearby people and let you Cast a Twin into a simulation
• Generate Twin-vs-Twin date simulations and show you the transcript
• Let you send human messages in a simulation room
• Safety: 18+ checks, report, block, and filters against sexual-minor and similar abuse
• Process Unscripted Pro via Apple
• Answer support mail and meet legal duties

7. AI simulations (DeepSeek)

The core feature is a simulated date between your AI Twin and someone else’s Twin. That generation is done by DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com, model deepseek-chat), called from our server. We send Twin names, human display names, traits, the scenario, and prior AI transcript. We do not send photos to DeepSeek.

AI output can be wrong, crude, or a bad idea. You decide what you send to another human. Do not put secrets in Twin prompts or human chat if you would not want a processor to see them.

8. Who else sees data

Other users can see the profile and Twin you make visible, simulation activity in a shared room, and messages you send them. A Cast is not a human match by itself.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

We use processors only to run the app:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage (on our instructions)
• DeepSeek — Twin-vs-Twin simulation text (see §7)
• RevenueCat — subscription status, using your app user id and purchase history
• Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, and (on supported devices) on-device Sensitive Content Analysis of photos. Apple’s rules apply to those services

9. International transfers

We are a Hong Kong company. Supabase, DeepSeek, RevenueCat, and Apple may process data outside Hong Kong. If you use Unscripted, you understand that transfer is required to run the product. We do not operate a separate HK-only stack today.

10. Retention and deletion

We keep account and interaction data while your account is open, and after closure if we need it for safety, abuse investigation, or law.

You can delete your account in Settings. That removes your auth user and related database rows we control. Photo files in storage, RevenueCat’s customer record, and Apple’s purchase record may remain until those systems purge them. Email “Unscripted privacy” if anything is left that you want gone.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures. No app is perfectly secure. Use a locked device and tell us if you think someone else used your account.

12. Your rights (Hong Kong PDPO)

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold. Email info@humansinnovation.com with “Unscripted privacy” in the subject. We may need to verify it is you. Some data may be kept where the law or safety requires it.

13. Children

If we learn we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete the account and related personal data we control, except where we must keep a record of the abuse report.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may also be noted in the app.
